Job Description: District Sales Representative
Description: The District Sales Representative will ensure increased profitability for the Company in a designated and assigned territory by selling Foodservice items to established restaurant or facility businesses. The District Sales Rep will also ensure total customer satisfaction by promoting top quality services to Renzi Foodservice customers.
Essential Job Functions:
? Continuously grow sales in designated territory by maintaining relationships with current customers and penetrating new customers in the market.
? Set, track and analyze departmental goals and objectives. Create action plans for targeted items needed to secure growth and present individual performance to District Sales Manager.
? Track and analyze profitability of current accounts with District Sales Manager. Responsible for both annual and monthly sales objectives.
? Face to face interaction with team members and customers in the field and within the office. Daily travel and communication is a must.
? Responsible for up-to-date knowledge of marketing tools and website resources that help support the overall business.
? In depth knowledge of pricing logistics and product knowledge.
? Responsible for the communication and collection of payments by customers.
? Attend required meetings and scheduled trainings.
? Participate and encourage continuous growth by being involved is promotional opportunities and sales contests.
? Maintain and coordinate communication and teamwork with all other Company departments in order to ensure overall success of the Company?s strategies. Specifically creating a collaborative relationship with the Customer Service and Operations Departments.
? Stay abreast of all business relations with customers. Ensure current customers are secure.
? Stay abreast of industry knowledge, technology, and communication tools.
? Solicit and encourage new customers and new customer markets or sales opportunities. Present ideas for new business to the Company.
Education & Experience
Minimum of 3 years experience in a sales management capacity
Must have a good understanding of mass markets with EDI systems to drive a growing business
Knowledge of inventory systems
High degree of computer skills, including Microsoft office
Ability to work well with people, strong motivational, innovative, and interpersonal skills
Communication skills are a must, Must present a professional image
Ability to work independently and in a team based atmosphere.
Must have license
